Project Triyarth

The project triyarth was initiated by GirlUp DCAC in order to propagate and promote female financial literacy. Triyarth, a culmination of words ‘triya’, which means women and ‘arth’ representing finance, sought to inculcate the discipline of financial independence amongst women that still remain dependent on their male counterparts for financial handlings. 

The project explored how exactly women were being kept away from the monetary benefits that this field has. They themselves have abstained from exploring it due to the lack of literacy.

It endeavoured various ways to overcome these shortcomings and truly achieve that freedom and how we as part of society too help in the contribution. It was fairly successful in its effort and managed to meet the goal that it attempted to accomplish.
